This is the "Place" that Sri Dalada maligawa and "our culture" give to tuskers.. And I only hope the newly posh "colombians" and "NGOs working with ulterior motives" who are feeling so sensitive about "violation of animal rights" at the Kandy Perahara (For no reason at all) understand that Kandy perahara and our culture gives much respect and prominence to these magnificent animals than anyone of you; much more than any of those NGOs who keep "whining" about violation of "animal rights" at kandy esala maha perahara; while rejoicing the taste of "animal flesh" in buckets and buckets of "Kentucky fried chicken"
My notes: This is our very own Sri lankan culture. it is responsiblity of all Sri lankans to protect it for the future.
